Why should I use a pest controller?
A pest controller has detailed knowledge of pest identification and habits and they know how and where to check for pests in the home. They are able to advise on the most effective treatments and importantly, are trained in applying pest control chemicals.
How often should I check my home for pests?
We recommend that your home be checked annually for pests to minimise pest infestations from developing.
Do your pest control products have an odour?
Most treatments are odourless, but some may have a slight smell. If you are sensitive to smells, it is advisable to be out of your home for 2-3 hours while treatment is taking place.
Are your pest control products safe around children and pets?
Our fully tested products are safe around children and pets. As a precaution, it is advisable for young children, pregnant women, allergy sufferers and pets to be out of the home for 2-3 hours until the treatment has dried.
How long does a pest control treatment last?
The duration of the effectiveness of treatment is dependent on the type of pest control implemented. Most treatments last 3-12 months.
Do I need to empty my cupboards or move anything?
No. Our equipment and methods do not require anything to be moved.
Will your products stain my walls or carpet?
The chemicals in our products will not stain and any visible residue while they are wet will have disappeared once dry.
What if it is raining on the day of treatment?
We may need to postpone outside treatments if it is raining to avoid the product being washed away at the time of application.
What if I see a pest after treatment?
This is not unusual. Total elimination may take several days and in the case of termites, several weeks.
