Pre-Construction Termite Protection

If you are renovating, extending or building a new home, it is a requirement that a pre-construction termite protection system be installed. We offer the following services:

Physical termite barriers

• Wide sheets installed before the slab is poured and sealed with adhesive and cloth tape.
• Installed either with complete coverage underneath the slab or around the perimeter of the slab and pipe penetrations.
• Provide long lasting protection.

Chemical termite barriers

• Can be implemented at any time, rather than needing to be installed at a particular phase of construction.
• A liquid chemical is applied to the soil.
• Some chemicals deter termites, while others kill them.

Reticulation systems

• Effective if you are living in a high-risk area.
• A network of underground pipes provides a chemical barrier, which prevents termites from entering the home.

Our protection systems comply with Australian Standard AS 3660.1-2000 Termite Management New Building Work and AS 3660.2-2000 Termite Management in and Around Existing Buildings.
