Bugsters Pest Control

Are professional exterminators that use environmentally friendly products to ensure all pests and vermin are removed safely. Some of the common pests that we keep at bay include:
Ants
Ants can be a particular nuisance when they get into your home. Garden or Black ants aren’t thought to carry diseases, the trouble is you don’t know where they’ve been foraging outside, so you won’t want them marching through your food cupboards. Ants will travel in a wide range searching for food, following trails they have established and clustering around the source of food, becoming a nuisance in homes, organisations and businesses. Small piles of earth around holes in soil and at the base of exterior walls indicate their origin.
Cockroaches
Cockroaches are closely associated with the human environment and have become pests worldwide. Cockroaches are attracted to buildings where there is food, moisture and, in colder climates, warmth. They feed on a wide range of human foods and organic materials such as cardboard, glue, faeces, dead animals and fellow cockroaches. They can pick up diseases from the filth in their surroundings and readily transmit them onto food and surfaces.
Fleas
Fleas are a common problem in homes, especially those with pets. You may discover a problem with fleas even if you do not have pets, if previous owners of your property kept cats or dogs. Fleas may also be carried on other, especially hairy, animals like rabbits, foxes, rats, mice and livestock such as pigs. As parasites, the greatest concern about the presence of fleas in your home or business comes from their bites. Although these are not painful, they can result in an uncomfortable itch or rash. Your pets could also develop allergies to flea saliva.
Rats & Mice
You may notice rats and mice are more prevalent in winter when they venture inside for food and warmth. If you notice scratching noises from the roof or walls, or droppings on the floor, it’s a good chance you’ve been invaded by mice or rats. It’s important that you control these issues as rodents can cause contamination, spread disease and can cause house fires as rats chew electrical cable and other flammable items.
Bed Bugs
Found in warmer climates and areas of your home - mostly in couches, mattresses, curtains and sheets, bed bugs thrive on human environments. More often than not, bed bugs are introduced to homes through travel and transportation on clothes, backpacks, suitcases and shoes.Although their bites are not painful, they still cause allergic reactions as well as redness, itchiness and swelling.
Carpet Beetle
Bugsters Pest Control have found numerous places in the southern highlands have been infested with Carpet Beetle. This shows up as wearing carpet or patches of worn carpet mainly in the outer edges of the carpeted rooms. If you have Carpet Beetle the treatment for this is to spray old carpet before its removed to stop the carrying of beetles out to the house to infest elsewhere. Then the floor has to be treated Blah Blah
Spiders
Spiders are eight-legged arachnids found on every continent except Antarctica. With over 45,000 known species, they come in a wide variety of shapes, sizes, and behaviors. From tiny jumping spiders to large tarantulas, each species plays an important role in controlling insect populations and supporting biodiversity.
Wasps & Bees
Wasp stings can be a painful experience and often life threatening for those who are allergic. Bugsters Pest Control are able to wasps
Separate to wasps, bees are a natural part of our environment – but they too, can cause issues if a person is stung by one. We do not spray bees and recommend a bee keeper find and remove the hive.

Spiders, Silverfish, Cockroaches & Fleas

These pests are very common and are can be treated with an efficient and immediate manner.

Termite Prevention

Termites are a reoccurring issue for Southern Highlands homes. There are two ways to effectively control termites—either control the active swarm or keep them away from the property using barrier systems. Termites can inflict major structural damage to your home. We recommend having an annual inspection to ensure there are effective control measures in place to protect your property.

Timber Inspections

If you notice quiet clicking sounds from the walls, the presence of white ants, hollow-sounding timber or tight-fitting doors, then you might have termites in your home. However, before you notice the signs, it’s best to arrange an inspection to avoid infestation.
